At this moment, I have TWO RC helicopters missing in the mail somewhere.

Is it easy for postal workers to steal packages during distribution sorting?

USPS used to be an awesome shipping service. I guess I will pay extra to have them shipped from other carriers.

yup... some places are worse than others... some have been busted working in teams... one drops off the package and after confirming drop off with handheld, then the pickup guy waits for a visual signal to pick it up after he leaves... this way they hit packages that appear to be electronics or other items of value.

we had some busted in my home town during Christmas... they where targeting festive colored envelopes and feeling for the giftcards....

UPS and FEDEX are not immune to such practices either... a few years ago a UPS driver was arrested for jacking part of a firearms delivery... he was busted cause he took the gun to a store and said he needed ammo for it (didnt know what kind)... the store owner wrote down the SN and checked, and it happened to be one of the stores handguns (a GLOCK )that didnt show up...

arrested on site 2 minutes later.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

I do get a lot of packages, at Christmas I give them a card with some cash in it. Most are good people.

Ever since O'Bumbles prevented running criminal background checks as a condition of employment, the USPS has become a cesspool of unretired released criminals, third world refuse, and imbeciles in general. Getting someone to get a package for pickup results in the classic "I don't want to work" slow shuffle . . .

And I try to avoid them whenever possible. Other areas may be better, but here, they really, really, suck!

I have tracking. It looks like GrandRC is gonna have to send me a new TREX 600n limited edition. $340...not sure how long they will make me wait until they ship another kit out.

The other one is coming from florida. It looks like it never sent out from the distro sorting.

Phone calls just reveal that both packages are delayed. I won't be using their services regarding shipping helicopter packages next time.

I am going to have to wait an additional 14 days! GEEZ!

I hate freaking thieves!
My alarm system has a camera built into the door ringer. It has a motion sensor and video records any approach.
Hope you get your Helis back!

I heard some comedian a few weeks ago talk about USPS tracking. He was making fun of lack of information. Day 3 dont know where it is, Day 5 don't know where it is,,, Oh here it is! Day 9 out for delivery. Good luck and Hang in there.

Pretty sure the Trex600n is stolen too. This was priority mail and it is lost after San Jose. I bet you someone scanned it and put it aside for themselves. GrandRC is gonna be out another $340.00 soon.

Hehehehe. Nice try. 20$ and give it 7 more days. (bad weather) If you agree, we can have a virtual gents handshake. Check my feedback. A virtual handshake is as good as real one in my book. ( have lost a bet here before )

Okay! $20 then!

San Jose is in CA -> straight to PHX distro hub. (we know it is gone)

Jacksonville is in FL -> Few hubs such as Jacksonville FL, Kansas then Phoenix distro hubs. (I think until jan 30th, we can call this lost/stolen)

7 days is Feb 2 at this point. Shake?

OK so the one from San Jose is not likely to be bad weather. If it made it to Phoenix it is probably in the hands of ASU people. A little slow. They probably sent it to Michgan by accident
