yes its a Jack Russell terrier by what I can tell... but its legs look like they are on the shorter side... could be whats known as a "shorty"... if its longer than it is tall and 10 - 12 inches to the shoulder.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Every Jack Russell I've seen have more wiry hair, but I imagine there are smooth coat varieties as well. Looks very much like a Jack Russell
