sometimes worn mast bearings can cause futaba gyro to kick.If you do decide to check you have to remove them and with the shaft, spin it adding side load, if you feel a crunch you know they need replacing..

ID,

From post #1.......
I just started running into a problem. The gyro behaves like it has too much gain.
Your initial post would indicate that everything was fine before you started to see this little issue......

So, did you change the wheel you had that worked OK with a wheel giving you the 11 mm spacing ?

Personally, I doubt 1 mm will make that much of a difference......but hey, you never know....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Yeah, I failed to mention that a clean up was done some time ago. I didn't fly it afterwards. Pretty sure I switched horns by accident. Old horn was for the Concept 30 11mm. 13mm horn was for the Raptor 50 titan.

I didn't get a chance to fly today due to high winds.

11mm horn on Raptor 50 will hunt in the middle during hovering.

I will update as soon as I fly the machine.

Really good to see old school machines and gyro had dominated this topic . Reminds me of better times of late 90's and early 2000's. Can't stand new technology (maybe I just can't catch up ) ...
Love the flybar .

From the manual: When the rudder neutral position was changed by the linkage, the rudder neutral position in the AVCS mode must always be re-read before use.

Bring the heli in normal mode (lower down your gain) into the hover, if it drift adjust the rod.Switch off engine and switch 3 time (in one seconde) between normal and AVCS mode. End in AVCS mode. restart Rx and TX in AVCS mode.

Somehow the neutral position has ganged and must be re-read.

Flew the machine
Did some 3d flips and aggressive stalls with looping turns! Gyro held and the wriggle is gone.

Man this hobby is addicting! I want to buy more helicopters! OMG, someone cure me of this disease!!!!!
