My motor is the stock KUZA C8050 165rpm/V. I need to determine the pole count but would have to dismantle everything in order to do a count. Does anyone know what the count is? I am trying to take the easy way out.

Thanks, Chopper37

14 Poles, exactly what I needed. I will be running a Hobbywing 130A with BEC (BEC won't be used) but will be using separate 2 -Jeti 2900 packs for electronics with emcotec switches (5800 mah in parallel) for the electronics and the emcotec magnetic safety power switch for my main packs. Kind of a cool setup being able to plug everything in, fire up rx and fbl in the pits, take it out to the field and pull the plug on the safety power switch.

What head speeds are you running? The gear ratio has been calculated at 8.0172:1 and tail gear ratio is 5:1. I am thinking 900 and 930.

I am thinking of using the Brain2 governor which I am quite used to and unless otherwise advised may stick with my plan.

Thanks for the quick response.

Loren
