Hi
I want to share an offer I recieved :
Hi andre
Ok. How about $150 (US) for the Shuttle RG and $100 for the Kavan Alouette 2.
Mark
We are speaking about NIB helicopter kits .
Definitly , after recieving such offers I decided to stop the sale ...
I prefer to give my beloved helis to good friends !

I reviewed your classified ad. I didn't see where you had prices posted. Did I miss this? I've found, to reduce the number of "low ball" offers, it's best to state a price you're willing to accept.

Agree 100 %. !!!

I also love the ads such as “I’m putting out a feeler” or “I’m considering selling “ etc.......

You either are or not !!!!

Last time I checked model kits didn't go up in value... unless you have a very rare unopened kit then maybe you will find a buyer.

I understand how you feel.
Then in your case find out what it is worth and stick to it.
Try to remember that the right buyer is as rare as the item itself.
Post your ad in many places .

Good luck

I have found that if you give them away, then the recipient will not respect the item. You will find it mistreated, sold for cheap, or parted out. Just put a high price on the heli kit and you will weed out the trash.

Regardless of the value you place upon your kits, the kits are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. If you assign a price the them and they remain unsold, then your price is too high. Best of luck with your sale.

Fleabay might be a better option.....

Put a reserve on it for your “bottom line” price and if it sells , yippee !!

If not , nothing lost ....

I bought both the Heim 286 built and the Robbe Advantguard new in the box from Andre. I had been looking for the 286 for years and never found one so I jumped on it. Also I had never seen a Advantguard in my years in the hobby. As a buyer I was willing to pay to get them because they are hard to find. If you grew up with these models you would understand better. Having that item that the younger guys have never seen and having them ask "did you really have to build it " puts it in a class of it's own. Thanks Andre for selling them to me.

Gearhead: The "RG" is all metal. The "RG/M" is CF frames and TB. Also, the TB is longer than the "RG". Every thing else between the two is the same. Either one is gorgeous and has nothing in common with the plastic Shuttle.

Hi Mark
I am glad you apreciate the helis . Thanks ....
Now concerning the Shuttle RG : this is by far the nicest 30 size helicopter I ever built ; lots of ball bearings , aluminium everywhere and the only one that flies " symetrical" .Every figure right, left are done easyly . Hirobo are my favorites and the RG is a Rolls Royce even nicer than a TSK for those who know ....
Regards
Andre

Hi Andre, I wish you the best of luck on your sale.

I had PMd you about one of your Helis but just don't have the amount you're asking.

I don't know when your move is going to happen but my wife and I will be visiting our kids in Italy in June and if you still have it at that time I am hoping to be able to purchase it then.

Take care!
