Just a thought but since MA was bought out by another company do you think that they might have the setup information? I know when they were located here they were pretty good about keeping some parts on hand for the older helis.

I need the length of the rod that connects the two together. Either the gap between the ball link or from ball holes.

I understand the set up at the bell crank stays the same. Also the gap of the tail blades is 20.0 mm which is the left side tail assembly. Need to know for the right side tail assembly.

Thanks
Dan

tail rotor
Set the right side up as you would. Then put the same pitch on left side then measure the length of the balls and make a link. It's not rocket science. It works. I've made my own twin tail rotor for my ergo years ago and it worked great.

The pitch in the heads MA twin tail was not equal. If memory serves me, the model hovered with required pitch in the left tail while the right tail rotor was flat pitch. The theory behind this set up was that if no rotor was ever at flat pitch, then piros in the age of mechanical gyros would be more consistent. Theory manifested in reality.
