Would a jive 80a hv be ok on a logo 480 for sport to mild 3d. I know the 100lv is better but i have a spare hv unit. Thanks.

Assuming 6S and flying as you describe, it'll be fine. The non-Pro Jive80 HV will easily tolerate 100+amp spikes.
