If you are having trouble making a multi blade head work properly you are not alone. Feel free to ask questions. we have all been there!

4 blade head on T. rex 700
Well I have a T. rex 700 that I’m preparing to suit up with the old school thunder tiger 109 fuse, I’m trying to get my mechanics dialed as you knkw it would be difficult to get hands in there once fuse is on! I’m very new to flybarless and multiblade set ups, so I went and bought myself the CNC heli Head which in my opinion looks pretty chinsky. I would like maybe a link where I can see phasing tutorials as well as beast X setups. I also have a heli I’m working on for a friend it’s a 800size century gasser heli which whom I got a aerodyne 5 blade head for.

This will get you started with the phasing:

I am pretty sure you set the phase angle electronically with the Beastx as well (which would allow you to keep the links straight up from the swash to the grips) but I'm an iKON guy so can't be of much help with that. I'm sure someone else with Beastx experience can chime in if you want to go with electronic phasing.

I have played around with the microbeast electronic phasing on a 3 blade but never got to fly it because I changed the head before I got to try it. You'll need the PC software and the dongle. Pretty cool how that works tho

+1 on the phasing movie... and I too got rid of the microbeast before I really learned what it can do....
the later units could do electronic phasing.... which is cool... as it enables you to keep the links parallel to the main shaft...
but it is not really necessary...

anyhow if you follow the basic "blade over the boom" method, as described in the move you will be ok.... "Trust me I did the same thing"...

I have an AR7200 beastx that I never could get electronic phasing to work. On a 4 blade head, I didn’t like the angle of the rods of manual phasing so, I put in a vbar, phased it electronically and no worries.

Ron

I didn't crash. I just ran out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas all at the same time!
