Yeah there's also laws that say you're not allowed to speed in your car you're not allowed to smoke marijuana or do recreational drugs your not supposed to drink and drive.
Heck I know guys that have been flying real airplanes and helicopters for over 10 years with no license and no registration and they never got fine inspected bothered anything really.
So when they try hitting me for a $27,000 fine I'm going to tell him those laws have been enforced a lot longer when I see you have them under control I'll pay the fine otherwise they can scratch off

only you have the power to make no difference!

I'm going to go to HobbyTown and Walmart tomorrow and see about buying RC helicopters and if I have to register them before I walk out of the store. If not there is no enforcement on this law because I guarantee the rocket scientist behind the counter at Walmart has no idea about registering anything

only you have the power to make no difference!

No one is going to go around checking for your FAA registration.

That is only going to happen when you cause a significant problem. Not having the document will cost you because it is easy to determine and prosecute. $5 is nothing. Get it and be done with it.

You have driver's licenses, hunting licenses, handgun licenses and many others I am sure. This is just another to add to your collection and keep you in line with the law.

The guys saying not to get it are probably ready to laugh at you when you get caught.

You could get away with breaking the law ...
It's when you get caught that matters

Whether it be by accident or someone else accident it usually happens when you least expect it.

Not having "it" won't cost anyone a dime.

In fact, at this time, it will save you $5....

In the future, when they bill you again.....who knows how much they will charge.....

But, they will know exactly who to send the bill to.....LOL

Congress saID
Congress didn't say anything.....some unelected bureaucratic staffer snuck in a paragraph.....by far the shortest paragraph in that whole appropriations bill.....which means they don't give a damn.

If you asked any member of Congress about the specifics, they couldn't answer that question....

In fact, Congress wouldn't know WTF you're talking about.

Besides, reveagle, you're not....nor ever have been...an AMA member.

In addition, it leads people to believe that you're just all talk...LOL

Perhaps the pics in your gallery are simply gathered from other websites and aren't yours....LOL

I received an email from a friend with the attached screen shot. He was NOT happy! I haven't taken the time to learn what this thread is about but I did enjoy the "discussion".

I am a card carrying FAA UAS registered member. I did it mainly so if my distant idiot neighbor calls the police again when I am flying over my 15 acres of property the police can tell him to shut the f..k up. (Which they did twice before).

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
