No, she was a safe distance away, just had too much zoom most of the time, its why she lost it a couple of times and it was shaky but she has gotten better over the years

I can never tell if you are chasing the helicopter or running away from it.

I tied that once and tripped over myself and went in face first AND crashed the helicopter. A two for one! LOL!!

nose in hover
hello,
Very nice job Emile! I have trouble with a nose in hover, let alone going around in circles, nose in. Need instructions on how to do that!

Holy crap Steve! yeah that is something I have to be sure to be aware and careful of. Glad you weren't hurt but sorry you crashed the machine.
Ken, learning the nose-in hover is the single most important maneuver I learned that improved my flying and confidence by 200%. Learn that nose in but don't just learn it like I see some do, get comfortable with it, make it 2nd nature like tail in is. Making scale flight look good involves 90% nose in views in my opinion. I mean think about it, everything a full size heli does looks so much better coming at you including takeoffs and landings. Not to mention, the inability to maintain control if the heli inadvertently gets nose in on you could result in a crash and who wants to spend the whole time flying trying to avoid nose in rather than just be free huh?

well I stopped by the gumball machine to get some more scale stuff, cut out some more holes and glued more pieces of construction paper, cardboard and balsa together.

Fantastic. This gave me the idea of using the round, measuring spoons as air scopes.
