Can I upgrade a Logo 20 to a 400 ?
Hi, Looking for info on how to upgrade an old Logo 20 to a more modern configuration. Any thoughts or old parts laying around out there ? Mine has a Plattenburgh Motor and Schultze esc. I think it would fly on 8 or 10S system but can only guess. Any advice is appreciated...

That sure is an old garage....

Perhaps you could sign up for a "free" account with Vstabi/Mikado which is located in Germany.

And ask your questions on their website forums for such info.

Cheers

8 or 10s lipo? The Logo 400 uses a 200 tooth .5 mod gear. That is a lot of power for a .5 mod gear.

Hi Joe,

The Mikado Logo 20 and Logo 400 are different size helis. The Logo 20 is a 600mm Blade and the Logo 400 is a 423mm Blade. If you have a Logo 20, it is closer to a Logo 600 in size and you could likely convert the head to flybarless using Logo 600 parts. Beyond that, the mainframe is too different from the current Logos. You could probably use some of the head, grips and swashplate as well as tail rotor parts if you wanted to convert to a Logo 600 using the new mainframe. Check out the Logo 600 manual at the Mikado website for ideas.
