I just used the calculator, thanks for sharing.

Cut taxes for the wealthy, corporations, and raise the middle class taxes. Great plan

the corporate tax rate is irrelevant for many of the countries top companies.... Why? Cause many seek subsidies or tax breaks that span years (5 or even 10) when looking for a state to set up shop... Look at what Amazon is doing... and look how states are agreeing to allow them tax free operation should they choose to set up in their state... they even go so far as to give them the land should the government own it OR use imminent domain to swipe it away from a private owner.

Companies may be in the 30% plus range on the current tax plan... but when you take into account any loopholes, subsidies and side deals with the states they choose to do business with, many pay well less than 15%.

any profit they make simply go to building more plants and building up the companies net capital... it very seldom trickles down to the low end worker much less to the consumer. The market as a whole determines what prices will be based on demand.

Look at De Beers Diamonds... they have literally tens of millions of diamonds in stock... but release only set amounts to the public... they do this to artificially keep the prices high as long as the market can bear it.

what we need are tax breaks for the middle class... not the poor, they dont pay anything to begin with... and not for the wealthy, they are rich enough to find ways around the system.
showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

That's backasswards baloney....and you know it!

If Congress hadn't imposed such a stupid tax upon them, they wouldn't have passed on those tax costs on to the consumer to begin with!!!!!!

That's the kind of silliness that idiots in Congress say to defend their stupid actions to rip us all off!

That people sit there and blame the wealthy.....the evil corporations....etc.....rather than the real culprits called CONGRESS....is a sick joke!

Which has been the case all during your lifetime.

Your confusing state and federal tax breaks. Not really the same, as the state tax breaks are in exchange for jobs, as the fed breaks are for absolutely nothing.

I Agree with a middle class breaks as they definitely stimulate the economy.

I'm sure you can't....LOL

Keep in mind, I'm not a socialist....and I don't believe in big govt. like you do.

With regards to facts, that calculator you refer to is bogus.

As the idiots in Congress haven't created such laws yet....it's simply just speculation by the lame stream news media at this stage.

I'm mainly referring to your bogus claims of "Cut taxes for the wealthy, corporations, and raise the middle class taxes".

And I certainly don't want them to implement your version of tax reform.

No offense intended.

And you just conflate states giving tax breaks to companies....in an attempt to lure them to set up shop there....NJ has one of the highest state income taxes in the US.

But, that's a completely different issue.....your state taxes you to excess, but you blame corporations and "the wealthy"....

Why is that?

Why not blame your own state legislatures?

Can you respond to that?....

I'm all for buisness's getting a tax cut, they should. Hopefully they will reinvest it.

But the middle class has GOT to stop being screwed over by supporting everything else. Keep it up, and there will be no middle class left.

We will turn into the Philippines (which I love)....two classes of people" Rich and well fed, and poor, desperately starving and no or little education.

As for the tax calculator. Until I see solid proof that I am not getting screwed over, I am a NO. Prove me other wise and I wills say yes.

Not that it really matters with Big Little Man Ryan and B#tch McConnell.
