Remember The Battle of Helms Deep. The survival of Human, Elf, Dwarf, and Shirefolk was nearly lost to the diabolical magic of ladders.

Never forget November 17 1274.

1.) GUN (GUh' an)... point in direction of border boundary and pull trigger once aimed at anyone illegally crossing...

2.) ID Card (Iy- dee Car'deh)... if not issued to or in possession of, use (1.) to remedy. Also required for access to any and all state and locally funded services as well as voting. Provided free of charge to all citizens.

gul·li·ble
ˈɡələb(ə)l
adjective
easily persuaded to believe something; credulous.
"an attempt to persuade a gullible public to spend their money"

http://www.motherjones.com/politics...ld-trump-wall/#
The annual budget for border and immigration enforcement ballooned from $1.5 billion to $19.5 billion, a more than twelvefold increase. By 2016, federal funding of border and immigration enforcement added up to $5 billion more than funding for all other federal law enforcement agencies combined.
Read it and weep...the whole article, that is.

To clarify, weep at the spending and not the guy in court.

if you see what they are spend it it on you will see the very problem with it all... its being run alot like the pentagon... wastefully, pet projects, retirement/pension.... why? well its a government program thats why.

yeah the wall is pointless always has been... the laws on border jumping have no teeth.

there is no point in a wall if there is no permanent consequence for crossing it illegally, either financially or risk to life.

then the whole catch and throw back over the border thing... for what? so they can catch the same SOBs again the next day. talk about job security.

Many Agents are on a first name basis with many of those they apprehend its gotten so bad.
The United States currently has over 650 miles of fencing along the Southern border, record levels of staff for ICE and CBP, as well as a fleet of drones, among other resources. Some of these resources have been spent on ill-conceived projects, such as the $1 billion attempt to construct a “virtual fence” along the Southwest border, a project initiated in 2005 that was later scrapped for being ineffective and too costly.

Everyone acts like there is no wall now. Bizzare.

Things like ID card, e verify, enforcement and ending the automatic citizenship crap for folks who pop out of their illegal mom in the US are what is needed. I work with a guy in Juarez who told me every time his wife is about to pop, they take a vacation in the US for the free instant citizenship. Pretty sure he doesnt pay the medical bill either.

Trump was right, we are stupid, but the bigger wall will only help a little, the better moves are simple. Fix and enforce the laws, and push California into the ocean.

The guy in court put himself and his child in this position by breaking a federal law.

People break laws all the time and end up paying a terrible price.

A wall is cheap compared to everything else.

Given, but the guy used in the article was not the focus point but a means to deliver the rest of the article and the reason I used it specifically. Sorry if I wasn't clear enought.

If you hire them, they will come.

If you continue building it, they have and will continue to bypass it.

On the other hand, enforcing existing laws and a bus ticket is cheaper than a wall and at $124 a day incarceration with a min of 60 days stay (which is going to a private company and in the link if you read it) is a business with lobbyist and probably traded publicly (havent verified the latter).

RICO Act comes to mind as is.

Hire illegals from any country at any level and lose your business license and add to that tax fraud. Create a domino effect and shake the foundation that is the status quo.

Social Security card? It's a joke and easiest to get in the paper falsification world. Heck even Obama had one.

A wall, just like your fence, home-car alarm and even a dog is only a "deterrance", not an absolute solution.

A wall as a political platform is nothing but smoke and mirrors in the grand scheme of things.

In an time of recession and despair, we need feasible solutions and not more fribulous spending.

Wag the dog!

There is no wall now that amounts to anything but a token effort. A properly done wall has lookouts, enough height to circumvent any typically available ladder, and enough concrete and open area (as well as vibration sensors) to make any ability to tunnel pointless.

And anyone who seriously thinks that ElChapo and the average border crossing Mexican have anything in common in terms of resources is clearly insane . . .

Again, check Israel - the wall works, and against a much better opponent. Naysayers just clearly don't understand what it needs to be . . .

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org...-security-fence

Read it and tell me how walls don't work again, noting that Israel is defending against a very well armed, terrorist opponent, not just "strays"?

Friends don't let friends become electrotarded . . . .

Israel's wall is a very fine wall.

West bank.

If I was a determined illegal mexican I would take a drill and permanently anchor ladders to the Mexican side of this wall. Add a rope ladder and a weight so the rope ladder retracts to the Mexican side after each use...

Hundreds of billions of dollars of wall defeated by 100$ or less.

The existing border is patrolled. Here they use sensors, a heli, ground officers, and drones and radar blimp from Ft Huachuca... Great operation and great folks, but it is a revolving door.

You were perfectly clear and I understood...my comment was just a side comment.

You are correct...but cities and now California refuse to obey federal laws and declare themselves as sanctuaries for illegals.

Past all the laws you want. Illegals, employers, and local and state governments have already proven they ignore the laws.

I want the wall, patrols on horseback, helicopters, drones, vehicles, dogs, electronic eyes everywhere, and an attitude like Australia.

No way to stop people from coming over
Unless, we as a nation are willing to put teeth on enforcement.

These two fine war machines will reduce the invaders by 99%. They have the ability to see in the dark and infrared sensors. No more anchor babies and illegal immigrants laughing at our stupidity. Just shoot them!

ah yes, the Crows...they will... I loved em in Iraq.

...but when you give the SOBs more rights than a US citizen does... its pointless.

like I and some others have already stated. Laws with no teeth and a border with no permanent consequences for crossing results in a boundary that exists only on paper and has no meaning otherwise.

whats the point of all the drones, helicopters agents, Dogs, Horses, trucks planes, balloons, fences, walls, signs, cameras, pistols, rifles, radios, antennas, finger and eye scanners, computers, buildings and staff IF

...all you get is a slap on the wrist, and told to show up in court 4 months from now (if you feel like it), then simply break a law or two and get sent back so that you can simply do it again next week?

THERE is NO CONSEQUENCES for breaking the LAW if you are an ILLEGAL.

Hey man, don't deprive us of your insight.

You and Spiff are non wall people and I'm a wall nut.

Our differences of opinion are a strength and not a weakness.

Both what you and Spiff said are totally valid...I'm just the type that goes overboard...on most everything.

It's ok to disagree...if everybody were like me, I surely wouldn't come here.

I enjoy your posts and I suspect others do also.
