Turbine EC-135 rc heli FPV experience
I love watching turbine rc aircrafts, either airplanes or helicopters when they have a camera in the cockpit. There is something about that jet sound that makes it feel real to me. I know many of you feel the same.
If you have a FPV video of your aircraft, plane or heli, feel free to share it here.
Hope you enjoy this one.

You might notice, I have been a member of these groups for years and rarely post.I have a lot of footage that I shot over the years that I never used. Getting back into flying again and decided to start sharing the footage. If you are the moderator of this site and don't like the content, you can ask me to take it off and I will.

Post whatever you like.

What heli are you flying now?

That might be more of interest.

What type of RC equipment?

This shows you how well I know the proper language of these forums...
I own two trex 450s, one scale 600 size bell 222 nitro and one airstar gasser. I am seriously thinking about buying a turbine.
When it comes to fixing helicopters, I always took them to the repair shop, My career keeps me traveling all over the world and never had time to learn how to fix them. For the past five years, I only flew twice until you saw me post that huey video three weeks ago. After being in that helicopter, I started to fly again.

It's been a while since I crashed, don't remember how much I used to pay every time I went in for fixing. I can tell you, this was one of the main reasons I stopped flying, the expenses were getting on my nerves. By the way, I learned how to fly without a simulator :-)

Expensive that way.

I initially tried that way.....Since then, I use a simulator all the time....has saved me a whole lot of bucks.....not to mention time of repairs.

I did end up buying a "Realflight" simulator and it served me well over the years. By the way, what kind of heli flying do you do? I am all about scale flying.

He made it sound like there are businesses out there that do that.

Seems like a niche business that would be hard to make ends meet.

Not enough volume.

Maybe not for a full time occupation, but there are quite a few people who don't have the skills or even the time for the attention in detail these machines need to fly well and look good.

There are a number of people/establishments here you can turn to for help..

Kevens, cool video. Love the FPV stuff. Thanks for sharing.
EEngineer How much do they charge you for their services?...He made it sound like there are businesses out there that do that.
Yes, they are called hobby shops.

One in particular in Florida charges 30 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. Also a minimum of 250 for assembling a 700 Trex combo if I recall correctly.

Some folks value their time much higher, arent mechanically inclined or simply just want to fly vs repairing.

By the way, did you ask the same question in another forum?

Yes, they are called hobby shops.
Is that a fact?

You mean like Hobby Town?

'Cause that's the only hobby shop near here....

And I'll bet they don't just only repair helis to make ends meet, huh?
