I live in the Philippines so access to parts is super painfull. So... I want to make sure to buy the basics all at once.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Just a thought ......

Buy a second kit and that way you’ll have any “crash part” available....... replace the parts in the second kit as needed.

That way you will not have any down time given your particular situation....

I did just that years ago when the Raptors first came on the market....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Yeah, but in crashes the same parts generally break over and over.

That's the problem it almost always the same parts. After the first crash order three of everything you need. And then get some parts that look like they hit or got scuffed.
Good Luck

I don’t find that to be necessary true..... while many parts are a given , such as boom , blades , main and blade shafts , etc, there may be parts that may break that you had not thought of or planned for ......such as blade grips , side frames ... and the list goes on.

By the time you add all that up , you’re close to the cost of a new kit , hence my suggestion....

Micro's are a good concept but not very practical.

Micros are a money pit .. nothing can beat:
- A good SIM
- Learn a maneuver
- Get a FBL with a rescue feature
- Let's you transfer what you learn on the SIM to Real Life
- Bail out when you need it

Small Heli:
- more agile
- need to fly lower b/c you can loose orientation easily
- huge learning curve

Big Heli:
- Easier to fly if you know what to do
- reliable
- very docile
- can fly higher
- it's something you are gonna eventually fly, so minus get to it
- do it right and you should have no problem

I understand this may not be what you want to hear. But this is Honest Truth.

Because Honestly is a very expensive gift, can't expect it from cheap people or micro's.

BTW
if you want to go forward with the 180CFX. I got enough to build 3-4 with plenty of spares:
- upgrades: metal servos, micro heli, brain micro fbl, belted conversion
- stock used and NIB parts
- I can ship it all the you and you should be good for quite a bit
- Take off over flat surface and fly over tall grass and be quick on TH
- PM if you are interested

Now you don't have to worry about anything that breaks, only thing broken will be your bank account! LOL

if your bank account still got some cheddar, how about the 180CFX's notorious lil bother - may I suggest a 130X?

and if you want the Title of Philippine Micro King: I got some mcpX BL lot too!

This is your dream come true if you are still into that kind of thing. I have no more time for them.

Since these Heli are so tiny, quick and crash so often .. maybe you can recruit a local hot shot pilot to buddy box you. I got two DX-7 first generation TX to do the job!
