Those winches are pretty strong. I mounted one inside the pod on a friends Roban Jayhawk, very cool.

Yes but the quality control on building is not very good as I had to release the screws and bolts as the drum was not moving when I first got it
I am running it on 5 volts and it seems to perform very well now
