Wild turkeys can fly. I'm not sure they are using wild ones, and I don't know how far a commercially grown turkey can fly. I suppose it would be like chickens flying, they can but not very far.Logo 700, Specter 700, Goblin 700, Trex 700DFC, Gaui X7, Logo 690SX, Logo 600SX; Trex 470 Trex 500

they dont. they are bred to have over-sized white and dark meat and are basically hatched and grown in relatively controlled spaces that aid in rapid growth but not strength or flight capability.

therefore they basically fall to their death.

So, the turkey, that has never flown before in its life (born and raised in a turkey factory), gets thrown out of a plane doing 80mph to 90mph (0 to 80mph airspeed in 1/2 second) and has to maintain some form of flight for about 500' AGL (even with the inevitable broken wings) until it "lands"?

What could go wrong?

I suspect 100% kill ratio.

end up with a severe injury trying to catch a falling 25lb fluttering meat bag?
