Older Version Spektrum DX7
Does anyone have any idea what this DX7 could emulated. I have a Nano CPS and the manual does not cover that DX7.

I try to bind but it does not keep. I sure the settings are different.

thanks

The original DX7 was DSM, I believe, and thus would not be compatible with the newer DSM2 and DSMX receivers.Gerry Cullan,

Ya, the good old dsm2 dx7 will work fine. I still have mine as a backup for my dx18 g1 and also use it as a trainer slave.

Just set up a heli model and follow the dx9 settings best you can for throttle/pitch curves. Your panic button will probably end up on one of your 2-way switches. You could also download the older Nano CPX manual (google it) and use the dx7 settings. Most should be the same except for the panic button.

If you get stumped, contact HH tech support. I'm sure they will help you out.

Cheers,
TomC

It is compatible and if it's not binding you probably are doing something wrong. Check your procedure over.
I went through that with a DX-8 and I think I used the DX-9 settings.

You are best to try to research this yourself. With the new Safe tech it looks a bit complicated to program with the older DX7. Google something like, " blade nano cps with old dx7 setup " for some ideas.

Otherwise, you should contact HH tech support and ask them;

Maybe you should have bought the RTF version? Or, maybe a good excuse to buy a nice new DX9 G2. Could be an early Xmas present, lol!

Good luck and cheers,

apparently HH claims the dx7 was never intended to work with the nano. features not supported with the dx7.

I am surprised, but nothing last forever. Looks like you have a new radio in your future. Radios are a pretty go deal now a days. And I think they have trade in deals right now.
Good luck
