Heh heh thanks gentlemen, I have been at this a long time and when you are on a budget, you have to find ways to accomplish things without spending too much and when it comes to scale, if you desire accuracy, you find that you cant find everything on the shelf so you have to improvise and fabricate your own. I find sometimes I live outside the box

Looks and sounds smooth!

A hell of a difference from trying to setup a five blade on normal raptor mechanics setup.

Great job on setting up those mechs using your skills and ingenuity.

Thanks Choppercrazy n Roy! Yea the 5 bladed head setup was a no issue to do now. everything set mechanically even the phasing and the pc rods are nice and vertical. so far the 600mm wood blades feel very stable and in pod n boom felt great. with the weight of the fuse I will see how it does in fwd flight in some wind. it may need a stab unit but time will tell.
with the low head speed I am running, even my longer hme made tail blades were working hard so I decided to whip up another pair of tail blades and put a 4 bladed tail hub in place of the two. much better yaw control now with the low headspeed. Roy ii also put some foam inside the fuse to reduce that annoying harmonic noise this fuselage seemed to be stuck with. my last md500 fuselage didn't have this issue. the foam has helped some but it could be quieter. Oh I also got carried away and now the landing gear one this one squats too, I cant help myself

Very smooth. Why did the tail rotor stop spinning while the main blades were still spooling down?? Are they not directly connected???

LOL.. Jim, I asked him the same question when I saw his auto's video. Don't really understand but Emile knows his stuff. All I know is if my birds tail stopped, it would be like a speed skater in a tight fast spin all the way to it's death. I noticed he always slid it on the ground and the tail came around when it stopped.

Hi Emile:

Looks really good. I presume that the blade graphics make it look like it is a spiral. I am doing a similar but smaller scale version on a two blade head with holographic tape. Neat.

Hi Don, thanks. Yeah I have it spiraling outward on this one. will be cool to see how it turns out on a two bladed head.

Hello Emile,
Very nice flight. I have that helicopter with the 4 blade system and the microbeast. Flies great. Where did you get the head button? I like it! Ken
