Will not watch anymore of the garbage coming from players, Coaches and Owners. I hope enough people quit funding their product to put a hurting on them. Where have we fallen when the decency and respect of the National Anthem that it deserves a knee? God help us as a Nation please.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

We are sitting in a bar watching Golf. Screw Football.

Plenty of folks agree. Attendance for the SF game last week was under half and tickets being sold for 14$ ...

Nice of the NFL to expose themselves. My interest was going down already...this just slams the door.

Overpaid crybabies. They have no clue about just what their protesting. Majority of players are minorities who have been given a opportunity to play a GAME and make MILLIONS. If they really wanted to make a difference they should put their money where their mouth is.
Been done with the NFL for years.

Overpaid is an understatement. They can have there opinion but not at that time or place.
Rather watch a race, although they aren't the same anymore either!

Say what you want about the left turn rednecks
but
multiple NASCAR team owners made it clear they will not tolerate any kind of national anthem protests at events
Richard Childress, who was Dale Earnhardt's longtime team owner, said of protesting, "It'll get you a ride on a Greyhound bus." Childress said he told his team that "anybody that works for me should respect the country we live in. So many people gave their lives for it. This is America."

its really sad when the entire team you play with doesnt even show you the respect you deserve and you go out by yourself to show that.

Villanueva served three tours in Afghanistan and became an Army Ranger and is a recipient of the Bronze Star medal for overseas service and the Bronze Star medal for valor.

Standing for the National Anthem is showing the respect to those who have sacrificed for the rights and life style you now enjoy. to take a knee or hide in the locker room during such a ceremony is akin to saying you dont give a damn about those that bled and died for you.

he said this about addressing the issues at the core of the shunning of the National Anthem...
“You can’t do it by looking away from the people that are trying to protect our freedom and our country.”

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Jerry Jones is a stand up guy and one of the few that has guts to call it what it is. Does the NFL not think that they will alienate half of their audience? Seems like they think more of the employees than the customer .

Not only do they respect the National Anthem but have a invocation before each race. That must really drive the Liberals nuts. I agree that racing isn't the same as it was but the traditions live on in NASCAR.

I use to spend all day Sunday watching football until the NFL reinstated Michael Vick when he was released from prison. Sent the NFL an email from their website explaining how I felt, and a serious look at their standards of business conduct and ethics was very much needed. It has continued to degenerate to even lower levels since. I have not missed NFL football one bit.

An unexpected bonus from not watching football anymore is I have generally had the flying field all to myself on Sunday afternoons and not near as tired at work on Tuesday mornings.

IF the NFL does not enforce their own rules, why should any team or player play by the rules?

Oh well, Jerry's statement above from last year means nothing this year. Goodell has no balls.

Really sad part is the African American inner city community sold their souls to the Democratic Party and are now slaves again. Democratics destroyed the inner city education system, just like a hundred years ago, now the inner city youth have no education and no way to escape. Now filled with rampant crime, the individuals sworn to protect and to serve are portrayed as the enemy of all African Americans for trying to do their jobs in a war zone. You can kill someone in broad daylight in front of thirty people, but when the police arrive to do their job and try and bring the individual to justice nobody saw anything.

These idiot Pro athletes need to work on the root of the problem in the middle of the inner city communities, not disrespect our country and most of all our officers in blue.
