(NEW YORK) — Three Democratic members of Congress have been arrested at a protest outside Trump Tower.

U.S. Reps Raul Grijalva, of Arizona; Luis Gutierrez, of Illinois; and Adriano Espaillat, of New York, were among a small group of demonstrators who sat down in the street on Fifth Avenue Tuesday afternoon and refused to move.

The Democratic speaker of New York’s City Council, Melissa Mark-Viverito, also was handcuffed and led away.
The protesters were demanding that Congress pass legislation protecting thousands of young immigrants from deportation.
Protest organizers had said prior to the event that the lawmakers planned to get arrested.

President Donald Trump delivered an address at the United Nations earlier Tuesday. The Republican is scheduled to stay at Trump Tower this evening, but wasn’t present for the protest.
Here's my question to these idoits. President Trump gave them 6 months to solve this problem with legislation. Why are they busy at a protest instated of doing their job to remedy the situation they were mandated to take care of in Congress?
Liberals go figure......................

Hope they get the book thrown at them.

Or next time they should use a steam roller to make a point

I think if you get arrested (thereby you broke the law) as a sitting member of congress, you should lose your seat/job PERMANENTLY.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

You only have to apologize for three........I live in California......

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

I think I met a Democratic once,, yes yes, I see now, it was so unrealistic, a Democratic he had to be,

I was camping with my wife to-be and her brother Jeff, we were at a state camping ground, we were in a wooded area and we had tents, it was around 10:30 pm, the wife to-be was sleeping,, Jeff and I were fishing and we had a fire going, there was another fire about 300ft away, there was no other campers,,

well Jeff and I hear this noise in the woods, we looked and there it stood before us, the Democratic, well it must have been a Democratic because it went off saying how it thought our fire was too big, it was running off at the mouth telling us we should not have a fire so big. Jeff and I could not believe or understand what we were hearing, it was so foreign to us we were bewildered, yes,, bewildered we were,, I said something like "well you must not be a Vermonter" he said he was not, I think he said he was from Mass,, so I went on "well Jeff and I are true Vermonters, born and raised here, we never left the state, and if we want a fire this big or bigger we will have it, because we are true Vermonters and this fire is actually a small Vermont fire",,,, then the guy backed down and said that he may have been wrong,, as the Democratic left Jeff and I looked at each other, Jeff said "what was that" I said "I'm not sure other than we have never left the state" and we had a laugh,

note that our fire was not really that big, and I have left the state many times before hand.. yes we were drinking, but we were not drunk (just smart a$$es),, I tell you the guy had some go-nads to do what he did, if it was some other Vermonters I know he may have walked away with a bloody nose,,, yes sir, that Democratic had some big go-nads

Deadlocked jurors in N.J. Sen. Bob Menendez's bribery trial told to take their time trying
to reach verdict

NEWARK, N.J.— A judge told deadlocked jurors in Sen. Bob Menendez’s bribery trial on Tuesday to “take as much time as you need” to try to reach a verdict on 18 counts against the New Jersey Democrat and his wealthy friend.

The panel sent a note to U.S. District Judge William Walls on Monday afternoon saying they couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict on any of the counts. Walls told them to sleep on it and return in the morning. On Tuesday, he reminded them that juries frequently take time to come to a consensus.

Paid off, that can't be. That's not how the judicial system works.
