Wear and tear I will be ordering DD belts from this time forward. The Bando from TT wears out too fast. Lifetime is like maybe 3 hours of run time before it starts to click or crackle. The black DD belt has been run for over 2 hours with no slippage or wear and tear. The teeth seem to handle the abuse better. |

Almost everything is still available in China I was trying to find parts for the conversion of my E550 3 blades to regular 2-bladed FBL head. There is nowhere to find a dealer for the raptor line parts so I tried my luck by contacting TT Factory in Zhejiang, China directly. And the result is positive. The sales personnel told me that only 5 items in raptor line is deficient. So... we should be good for now.

Update on using tail blades I strongly suggest you use stock tail blades, do not use wide chord or extra larger blades. It forces the belt to hit the pulley harder and tears it up. This has happened to me three times, regardless of any belt tension. The original frames with stock tail blades have not had any issues. I suspect using bigger/wider tail blades is the culprit. This is now the 3rd frame I am going to have to toss the left side. |

I can see the difference Using stock tail blades and detuned pipe on OS50 engine is the way to go.If you use MP2 or tuned pipe with larger than stock tail/wide chord tail blades, you are asking for trouble.Frame/Belt can't handle the surge of power from a tuned engine all at once with a combination of 12 degrees of collective/9 degrees of cyclic.Let ya guys know why your belts and pulley fails then chews up your frame. |

New member and I am restoring a couple of Raptors Hello fellow Raptor owners
It looks like this site has not seen much activity lately and I am looking for advice and wisdom in my new quest to bring back to life a couple of Raptor Helicopters I am new to the forum and I am in the process of restoring both a Raptor 50 and a 60 series helicopter. I have read many of the posts here and wonder how everyone's respective helicopters have managed, and continue, to fly and the maintenance of them sine the last posts here in 2018. |

/Thunder tiger raptor has a very strong design .In terms of dimensions, it is similar to Mikado or align helicopters. In most cases, I did an upgrade using Mikado parts for tail, boom support, links, rotor head .../ |
