I am looking to touch up with heli flyers in my area.

Come out of the woods and make yourselves known.

Az Heli fliers
What side of town are you on?

I am in Queen Creek.

I am new to Heli but technically hovering is flying.

That's probably a little far to practice hovering for me. I am still in the lift off, hover, land without wrecking phase of my heli career.

Try coming out to the "heli bowl" in chandler...just west of meridian on Elliott road Sat/sun mornings...
It's the last basin (heading east) from signal butte, on the north side of the road. A Good bunch of guys and some very knowledgeable people .

Home of the "Sea Cobra".....

move to AZ
I`m considering a move to AZ. , during the hot summer when do you fly? daybreak and twilight ?

I`m sure night flying would be great there with all the desert and no lights.

I fly both!!!!!

ARG! The most I can do outside for least 1 hour is around 95 F! HOT!

Morning on summer days is a good 75-80F (6am to 7am) Evening, forget it too darn hot! (4 to 5 months of hell)

Winter time 50F to 60F,(Fly anytime and experience 7 to 8 months of flying freedom)!

I usually fly electric in the local park and nitro in an wide open field. AZ allows you to trespass anytime you want, unless there is a sign or the owner tells you to GTFO the lawn!

Fly on state trust land or BLM requires a $10 permit to give you the privilege to trespass anytime!

OR

Join a club and pay $ to fly at the field.

I do it all!

Welcome Scott! Guns, Helis and Women....what more could you ask for!
