Please prepare for Irma.

Get these supplies now:

1) a weeks worth of water
2) a weeks worth of canned goods
3) plenty of batteries for your flashlight
4) box of matches and candles
5) a weeks worth to toilet supplies

After acquiring the above supplies, place in the trunk of your car and drive to Nebraska.

Glad to help.

My boss is freaking out, he can't get his mom to leave florida. He is talking about flying out, throwing her over his shoulder and dragging her stubborn butt out of there.

This was the worse I've seen in Texas and it appears this may be the worse season for Florida.

Anybody who can get out needs to get out.

I remember Harry Truman and Mount St. Helens. He refused to leave.

Florida folks
If you need some supplies or whatever...pls let us know. If Florida gets destroyed...some of you need to move to AZ and fly helicopters with me!

Make sure you pack your helis and supplies to make the trip to AZ!

Luck favors the prepared, so good luck. It's gonna be a challenging 72 hours, to say the least.

Of course, we will then have E. coli, shigella, salmonella, HAV, rotavirus, norovirus and an assorted variety of exotic arbovirus -well, not that exotic anymore, unless Mayaro and some encephalitis decide to show up for the party

Embrace for impact, and good luck!

Lets hope it keeps moving westward, kind of selfish of me as it puts other areas in danger.
I have my windows boarded, standby generator working, and I am in the country so I am on well water, so no need to stock up on water (Still have a gallon or two in bottles anyway), plenty of easy to prepare food.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

when I see what you folks in these danger zones have to contend with it makes me appreciate living here in UK, we always moan about our weather, but it is nothing compared to the extremes that you folks face.

Thoughts are with those in affected area, friends of mine are on British Virgin Islands and have been trapped there.

Tampa Bay area faired well. Down to a Cat 2 or 3 by the time it reached my area. Just plants and small branches, nothing a half day of cleaning cant fix.

The eye experience is always eerie, nothing but dead silence.

Thanks all for well wishes.
