Just finished setting up a new Align 470. All the programming on the Microbeast Plus went well. After I was complete, I reconnected the battery and found that the tail only moved 25%-30% while on the bench. I went back through the programming and reset the tail endpoints. Tried the bench test again ...same problem. It's important to note that Approx. a week ago, I flew a 50 size heli that I didn't often fly. It had been a few months since I flew it and during lift off, it nosed left. I reinitialized the AR7200 in the heli and tried it again ...same issue. The last time it flew it was smooth and flew well. I reset the tail end points on the AR7200 and tried it again. The heli lifted off, nosed left and quickly dumped to the left and into the ground. So now, I'm ready to try the new 450 machine and have noticed the same limited tail movement on the bench and I'm not sure what's wrong. There are no mixes or programs set. All switches are in the correct position. I'm thinking there is a common denominator, but cant find it. I checked another 50 size machine that I have, also running an AR7200 and it has full tail movement on the bench. I've used the TX (Spektrum DX18) for other flights since and it seems fine. It's gotta be something simple that I'm overlooking, but I'm frustrated. Any suggestions?

Also verify that you have some gain into it. They will behave like this with no gain.

All of the above should fix it. Set gain (+&-) in rate and heading hold. Set end points in rate mode...then hover heli in rate mode and make (mechanical) adjustments until tail holds thumbs off..
