scale heli
as the others have said , get a sim and practice and then more practice , suggest getting a 500 for starters , and as others haave said make the tail visable , r skids so you have a good visual of it , eventually then you can move on to a scale body , bear in mind you dont want to put in a scale ship that took many hours to complete due to dum thumbs or lack of experience , its a process & takes time

I just recently built a Gartt 450l and stuck a Spirit-pro FBL on it. It has a mode that makes the heli so easy to fly that almost anyone could fly it. Spirit will soon add GPS so return home and auto-landing will be possible. It goes to show you don't have to spend a fortune to get a very stable and easy to fly heli. The Gartt kit was $108 plus motor ESC and servos. The spirit is around $180. So for roughly $450 you can have what you want not including the radio of course. I flew the Gartt in 15 mph winds today and I was amazed how stable and unaffected it was. Up to this point I had only flown 200 class helis and wind was a pain. This inexpensive 450 class heli is a whole new world of stability and ease of flying. It is very powerful and will climb like a rocket and flies 3d very well. I would recommend this setup to any beginner.

This one doesn't have return to home, and is not scale, but between a good sim and the safe technology this little heli can teach you to fly... I have flown it in safe mode and agility mode and in safe it is about as stable as can be.. and if you get in trouble hit the button and it stops and stays where it is at... Good luck with your search... Stan
