Building a Trex 550. Working on the tail slider I used a small amount of blue lock tight. But when I tighten all the linkages it will not slide all the in smoothly unless I back off the screws and I don't think that would be good any advise? Thanks

There is snug, tight and then there is over-tighten.

You can tighten with the 3 fingers tool holding method but avoid the kung-fu fist grip-vein popping method.

When it comes to metal to metal and related to the tail, red loctite is your best option along with an in-between of snug and tight.

Let loctite set for 24 hrs.

"red loctite "

I think blue would be better for serviceability...

Just a drop of BLUE loctite on threads then put screw in till it bottoms let the loctite dry should be good, you think the spacers would b a mm longer, but that's how they been for ever.
