Thanks for posting!..such a great pilot; I remember being at a funfly in Freemont Ca. in 1999.. Jason did a death spiral during a noontime demo and came so close to the pavement and stopped it into an inverted hover..everybody watching thought it was a crash for sure!..good times!

I do a great decending funnel!

We also have him to thank for a lot of the designing of the earlier Align models.

I never did get to own an N9 but it was my dream heli! Bought an N7 but it didn't have the same presence as an N9.

I was the CD for the Fremont Funfly for many years. I also vividly remember Jason's death spiral, as well as some of his spectacular night flights. That event was really good times for me because it wasn't just Jason who showed up. I know I'm gonna forget some names here but, my heli mentor and friend Perry Kavros wowed the troops every flight particularly with his blade stop autos - I don't recall Jesse flying at that time; Alan Szabo was a really young guy and had everyone's mouths hanging open with down on the deck 3D - I also don't recall Danny flying back then. The late Al Wert (Starwood Scale Models), Peter Wales, and even Len Mount from across the pond brought models of such precision and craftsmanship that no one had ever seen before. Good times indeed.........

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

I can't be certain of this, but I think the young kid standing next to Jason in the video I posted above is a young Danny Szabo.

I remember reading this somewhere. I've tried to search for this to confirm it (here and elsewhere), but can't find the reference.

Perhaps someone here knows, not that it really matters. I'm just reminiscing!
