I am hoping it is just my thinking and the Heli World is healthy.

I left the hobby around 2010. (mostly time and $)

I just jumped back in a few weeks ago and struggling to get everything I need. I noticed lot of manufactures have stopped or discontinued their brands.

A quick comment: What the heck happened to our hobby?

You left...along with thousands of others. With out your support hobby shops, suppliers and manufacturs felt the pinch...some couldnt weather the storm...others retired...Thanks for all you did Ron Lund. You will find several helis are no longer produced or supported, but there are better helis out there now with good support....Synergy is still strong, SAB Align MHS all have great helis....

"With out your support hobby shops, suppliers and manufacturs felt the pinch"

We all felt the economic pinch.....with less disposable income, people can only afford to "support" themselves....

"Not to mention Mikado"

U bet....in spite of Ready Heli's demise....

Anybody still have any RH mints left?.....

Me too....

Place your order before noon my time....and 2 days later, it's on your doorstep.....

One time, I ordered I forget exactly what....I asked for them to use Ready Heli mints as packing protection...instead of "packing peanuts"....just joking with them..

And sure enough, my package was full of mints....LOL

Mints!
Yeah, those mints! A buddy and I would sit around with our Raptor 50's and eat Readyheli mints! I miss the good old days!

It was a blast!

I just built a Raptor Titan and waiting for a few metal parts to come in!

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Lose it
You'll be glad you did. I would get another heli that FBL and keep the FB and fly them both. I found the FBL to be easier to set up and for some reason, it suits my flying style much better.

Nothing wrong with Flybar Helis.. I still have a 600N and 700N that fly great and that have been paid for, for about a decade now . We all know FBL is the way to go but it doesn`t mean we have to change the older helis to fly like new ones. My 2 cents is that the majority of Heli interested individuals got sucked up into the world of drones. easier to fly and less likely to crash. not to mention they take pictures and videos and can spy on the neighbors daughter. I have lost a couple buddies to drones.. I guess they are still flying but its not the same for sure.

I know a guy into drone racing....kinda cool...but not for me...

It's really weird looking through those drone googles.....not enough peripheral vision for me....tend to want to look left/right for orientation....but that doesn't work with the goggles...lol

Actually you can get a head tracker, and have the camera move just as your head moves. look left and camera turns left.. etc.. pretty cool perspective. I do mess with drone stuff and it can be fun
