no, you wanted to make moral equivalence, play devil's advocate. You seem to enjoy doing this but can't even bother to see where this is leading.
Cmon man! We have exchanged a handful of messages, if that many. I merely highlighted that some of your statements were wrong. No need to get your panties in a bunch.
You make too many assumptions in the rest of your post.
To move along with one of your objections, and to counter your equivalence prodding, consider this: Your country bombed Vietnam plenty of times. You interfered with their people and stirred the pot. Henry Kissinger should be tried for War Crimes because he is a monster of the highest order. In fact, you did some pretty f@£king horrible things in Vietnam, and yet, after all this do we see any Vietnamese declaring War on the West, or wanting the world to submit to their "religion" or whatever the hell is it? Do any of the Vietnamese living in American want to commit "Jihad" against the general population, despite a terrible history that American has done to some of them? No, they don't. They're smart enough to see history and how things are. It's not even about forgiveness. As an American - or any person in the world - you can visit Vietnam on holiday and they'll make you welcome despite the horrors of the past, they just want to get on with their lives, to live
abyzz....if you don't think that xterra is able to think, why spend an inordinate amount of time writing a treatise that he is supposed to read and comprehend?
I never said that. He seems to display some leftist's leanings. . .
I wanted to get into why he thought the way he did because it gives me the understanding why those in this country are thinking the way they do. Why do you think I'm here? I'm interested in this problem we have in the comprehension of some of the population so I can try at least see their point of view and see if ANY of their points have any validity - and also get use to the games they play.
Let's be honest here: Western society is LIBERAL. It's just that some of the liberals on the far left have push it too much to the point of not bothering to factor in human psychology and other ethical considerations.
The problem with the left is that they think ALL cultures are equal, same mistake a lot of people make, because they have not bothered to look at the problem in depth.
One of the most shocking events so far is this:
Watch at YouTube
Here you see someone telling the truth about Islam and Piers Morgan shouts him down. Even the female interviewer wanted to "correct" him. Pretty ironic when BOTH have not even read the Queeran nor understood its contents, and they've probably took their views from those in their upper class circles - they don't want to think about these things you see. . .
Now does anyone understand why we're going to have a slight uphill struggle in convincing the rest of the population on what's going on?
