More torque less speed better?
I would agree with that.

In some applications.

Speed counts, but speed without resolution or ability to react quickly to the data stream from the fbl controller is useless. I have in testing used way "slower" and way less powerful servos and been able to run MUCH higher gains than I was able to with friends's models with same gyro and so called super fast and hi torque servos.

Slower?
Why is that good?
Same as gearing on a heli. Smaller pinion, more torque, less rpm = lower power consumption.

That's why these new servos with high torque AND ridiculously fast speeds use so much power.

60% of the time, it works every time!

It helps me to generate a "power budget"....

I try to estimate the current that all the electronic systems might draw...add in a "fudge factor"...to "size" the SBEC requirements....
