Hello I have a Trex 600 flybar nitro and I cant seem to find what is causing it to keep tipping over. I have align 610 servos, DX9 trans, spectrum 8 channel receiver, 701 gyro/governor, YS.56 outrage pipe and carbon main and tail blades. All looks smooth until I'm right at the point of lifting off and then for some reason I cannot figure out it tips hard to the left every time and the blades hit the ground and break. I hit throttle hold of course but it's too much energy in the disk to stop and the blade tip hits and breaks. I've tried replacing the servos with a extra set of 610's I have and same result. I've gone over the head no loose ball ends no loose links, flybar and paddles are all good and tight. Any ideas on where to check or maybe I'm missing I would appreciate. Buying new blades is starting to get old getting the same result you know.

Issues like that were common with some of the early FBL units if you tweaked the cyclis just before liftoff.....

Are your sub trims and trims set to neutral during your initial setup ??

Is there someone experienced that can help you sort this out before you trash another set of blades ?

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

It's a flybar heli. You need to check the head. The mixing arms are giving the wrong inputs to the rotation disk.

Yes, it's a flybar heli.... my comment was meant to imply that it's not common for a flybar heli to do that..... should have been more specific....

Stand behind your heli make sure your servos are all moving in the correct direction. And make sure your tx is setup correct probably 120° swash mix. ALSO after you power up swashplate should be dead level thought you pitch range from low stick to high stick.....

Are you going to be at Spring Fling in VA? If so I can take a look over your setup. Been a while since I touched anything with a fly bar but pretty sure I can figure it out.

If so send me a private message and I'll give you my phone number.
