Bingo, Frank wins the history prize.....

And to clarify further, Juno Gold and Sword beachheads were those assigned to the Brits.

The 156,000 US troops were assigned the beachheads called Omaha and Utah.....

RR has been a great resource. Lots of great folks and good information sharing.

I wish Mark and his ex the best. These life events are never pleasant. All good things do come to an end and thankfully all bad things too. I hope this brings a good new chapter to everyone involved.

God bless!

The court issued a continuance until August asking for the Ex to provide evidence that she is looking for a job. The newly assigned judge looks to be taking a fresh look at my case. The future looks brighter. It would be a shame to walk away from all the work and development I have put into RR.Mark Ryder

Mark

Given your comment about your latest court visit, I feel the need to share the following:

A close friend went through a similar scenario where his wife actually quit her decent paying job, moved to two different states and made it very difficult for him to see his children despite court orders. She was riding his check to the point he lost the house, and he had to live in his car which eventually had to turn in.

He even had to fire his lawyer and given his smarts and due diligence, represented himself better than the word fairies (lawyers) did.

She, on the other hand, had a decent lawyer (thanks to his childcare and alimony) and would fib the judge about looking for work but finally got one doing a 2 day a week part time for minimal pay and absolutely not in her pro-field just to please the court, sort of speaking. A total bitter play-move and a win-win in the bitter women world.

On my advise I suggested for him to job hunt as if he was her as well as research any and all possible other places she could land a job based on her field of experience. Given its in the medical field, this included close to a dozen hospitals and I forgot how many dozens of clinics. He even landed a few interview appointments and with emails to back it up.

With that information in hand, he presented it to the judge on his next court date. The judge scolded her and gave her a 45 day ultimatum to find a job within her field versus the minimum wage day-care part time BS she was pulling. She was also reprimanded for the visitations issue and was prohibited from moving outside a 30 mile radius of her present location or else come back to Florida. The money issues, althought not in his favor, had been revisited as well and not as steep as it was, so some room for a breather. All this was over a 3 year court battle. The word fairies got a good chunk of the the kids college fund.

My friend is in a better state of mind and doing much better thanks to the judge that saw past her smoke and mirrors routine. His oldest kid is smart enought to figure out what was going on as well. In the long run, it will all pan out.

Hope this shine a brighter light on your path.

Addendum;
No non-bitter women were hurt during the writing of this non fictional story.

not to scare you Mark, but my friend's X wife is Bipolar, well she divorced him after he built a new house, she got the house, and the $200,000 in the bank but he got the 2y.o. because as said she was bipolar,, the case took 4 years, her Lawyer fee was $84,000 and his was $80,000

the scary thing>> after all ^that^, she took him to court twice a year for 8 years for custody,, she never won, she did it just for Spite, she wouldn't pay her Lawyer so he dropped her, then she went threw 6 more Lawyers and wouldn't pay them ether, then she was Black Listed and NO Lawyer would take her case,, then she stood up for herself and made herself look like a fool

Would have been cheaper to hire a hit man.
Someone on here recommended watching the documentary named "Divorce Corp". It opened my eyes up to how screwed up the system can be.
Its great that in the example noted above the father got custody of the child. THe F'd up part is he probably had to pay her lawyer fees.
