I was hoping it was some kind of joke when I first saw this post. I guess not.

This is one of the better sites out there. I am hoping somehow it will survive. I definetly have become more versed because of the great people in this site.

Lets hope for the best, Dennis

Marilyn Ryder will be inheriting my depleted estate.

I can't bring myself to believe this.

How do we contact "Marilyn"?

First of all, Thank you Mark.
I struggled in this hobby for along time until I found this site. I would have never made it this far without RunRyder. I hope this trouble passes and somehow Mark finds the will and the way to keep this site running.
Thanks Mark

I have enjoyed this site nearly every day for the last 15 years. Yep, 15 years! Always my favorite of all the rc online communities.

Thanks Mark.

I hope we will still see you at IRCHA this year.

Best wishes to you, Mark.

This is such sad news for the best model helicopter forum ever. What a great creation and value Mark has brought to this fantastic hobby. Runryder has connected so many heli fanatics from all sides of the the planet with generally friendly and often amusing discussion and this will be sorely missed. The educational value cannot be measured. I would have checked in several times a day on most days during the past fourteen years?

Thanks Mark and thanks to the fantastic members

Sorry to see the site close down. I hope you can get yourself to a position where you can enjoy the hobby, rather than work at.

I agree with all you guys. Best of luck to you sir. And I'm deeply saddened by this. This website has been my online home, my bible, and escape. If something new gets started, I'll be straight over there! I'm really gonna miss this place

Thanks Mark! Without this site I can't imagine ever having gotten my Raptor back in the air. Sorry to see you go through so much in recent years. Look to the horizon, start another site, do some flying, find another love, most important stay healthy. I have had a terrific time while being in your home away from home.

Does anyone know what is really going on with him? The language in his post is extremely troubling. Anyone on this forum that can reach out to him? I've seen comments like this before and it didn't end well as a dear friend of mine took his own life after making similar comments.
