it may or may not be that they are truly stupid,,,,, it's more about the fact that people are willing to believe the first story they hear without a thought of hearing the other side of the story before they make up their mind

Most of the kids in the interviews were trying to act like they knew what was going on in the world and in politics.

They don't.

Therefore they're stupid.

They're supposed to be smarter than that - - - they're not.

How does that make them worthy of any slack ?

yup they are stupid... my "other" brother in law changed his oil in my driveway... dripped oil all over on the concrete... proceeded to try to wash it away with the water hose...

these snowflake millennials are the proverbial look down the gun barrel generation.

they dont have a clue, cant do anything without a phone, cant seem to concentrate on anything, blame others for their failures, and worst of all know nothing of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, This country and its History (much less world history), and cant even write with a pen/paper anymore.

and this is the generation that will belong to the future... its almost as if we need another great flood, for the purpose of starting over...

My Grandpa (wfvail) used to say "The older I get, the smarter my father becomes." I think what he was saying is that in his youth, he didn't know as much as he thought he did and that the things his father did or believed, made more sense as he got older.

I think he told me this so that I might understand that as an adolescent, I don't have the world as completely figured out as I thought I did.

I was fortunate to have someone tell me this and, in a note of arrogance, I was attentive enough to listen to him.

Today I see a lot of kids that need to be taken aside and told, you don't understand as much as you think you do. It's not that the kids of today are more stupid than I was. It's that no one has told them to talk less and listen more.

"Well, Nothing bad can happen now."

they already have been talked to but refuse to listen/learn, they are to the point that they sit down on their loaded diapers, cry and throw fits like 2yr old's at the store when they dont get what they want. They have been raised to believe that they are special, that there are no "losers", everyone is a winner, all get trophies. Worse, they tend to apply rules in one direction only, cannot reason or form any logic from other points of view, which by far is the most dangerous mental control imaginable.

Its not enough to tell them something, you must show them, they have to truly understand... you can tell someone anything you want and they can listen to you all day long, but if they cannot UNDERSTAND, then the talk is pointless.

But this one is the "greatest DE-generation ever".....

And to celebrate, they're all attending the "May Day" parades...

first of all, this is nothing new. mark twain said he wasn't young enough to know everything. two, I wouldn't be so quick to lament or criticize our youths' understanding of the Bill of Rights or the Constitution itself when our own president seems to have a hard time with it too.

say what you want about trumps ego or brain power... the fact is he is a multi-billionaire... he didnt get there cause he is stupid.

on the other hand... give these millenial snowflakes 200 million and watch them go broke in 2 years. the only thing they are good at is navigating a web browser on a mobile device.

FWIW, todays Youth dont even know what the Constitution is much less the Amendments to it.

Ever watch/read that study/prank they did with college students a long time ago that involved them signing a petition to ban Dihydrogen-Oxide under the reasoning that of hundreds of people die from it every year...

Dihydrogen-Oxide is the chemical name for water
