Should we change to the H70G008AXW CNC Slant Thread Main Drive Gear/110T on the MX850 Motors?
This might have been covered before, but I have a question on the upgrade to the H70G008AXW wide main gear when using the Align MX850 430KV motor. Has there been a widespread problem with the narrow gear failing under load? I'm converting my 700E DFC Pro to the MX850 so any personal history with this issue would be appreciated!

Best of my knowledge the gears came out because of the 3 blades setup to help with the extra blade load, not because of gear failing. I have both 850 MX 490Kv and 540Kv and used old gears with out issues. Only thing that I'm aware of fail was rear TT gears. But best to my knowledge it was caused by tail boom assembly flexing under high load changes. But this was only on the 700X not the older models.

Thx Knight. I have the older 110t and 13t gear setup that I will use. I already have the new reds for the tail gear sets that I'm going to install even though mine is the DFC Pro version.
