Here's the link to the unit.

Seems the only spot is the bind/data port. But that either doesn't seem to be working. Or I've ruined the unit by plugging it in at the data/bind port.

For binding purpose, plug power to any channel.

You can use a Y extension to power unit if all ports are used.

I dont see in manual where you can not power it via bind data port after binding to radio.

Most power FBL unit directly vs Rx.

Max voltage is 9V.

I've got to supply
Power of get it bound first. Wasn't getting any response out of plugging the rx pack into the regulator then the bind port. No light. I'll try a different port. Using 2 cell lipo, so I think that's perfect. I'm not sure why it wasn't getting power thru the esc in the throttle channel tho.

If you misplace your bind plug, as I've done many times, you can easily fabricate one from an extra servo extension lead.

Just connect the black wire(ground) to the signal wire(wht or org).

FWIW

Binding occurs when during RX power up, the RX sees a signal line connected to ground.

Notice on the 3-wire servo cable, that even if you plug the bind plug in backwards, the signal wire still connects to ground.

One of the reasons they put the power wire(red) in the middle...

So, josh, you didn't harm anything when you plugged the bind plug in.
