Hi friends.

Need some idea on how to do the shocks on a lama landing gear. Here is a picture which shows it on a real bird.

I need it for the vario 3000 kit (1/6). Was able to learn soldering the tubes and made the landing gear. Before I start soldering rest of the frame, I would like to incorporate this cool little detail.

If your looking for the "boot" area I've used a balloon for this, any size and color to match your needs.

I can make boot by sliding a bigger tube over with washer on both sides. It is that bottom ringed rubber piece I am not sure where to find

R/C car/truck shocks with a boot. You can get very convincing looking boots from the same source. You can also source some covincing looking boots from electronic supply shops.

Is it just me, I thought all Helicopters flew in 3D......Hmmmm?
