Hi all so I want to upgrade my engine on my trex 700
I am picking up a os 105. my question is I want to use the crank sensor for the pick up,do I have to pull the back plate off and install a magnet or is it all set.. I am going to also install the multi gov pro for the governor.
thanks in advance

If you're using the OS BPS-1 sensor then the assembly fits in the hole @ the top of the back plate and is held in place with silicone. If you are using the magnets for the multigov then you mount your sensor to the motor tabs or whatever config your machine accepts and the magnet would generally go in the bottom of the fan or on the main gear and or even the main shaft if there's a machined pocket for it. You'd have to set the gear ratio for it to work correctly.
