Liberalism is a known mental imcompetence.

Some folks have trouble with math.
You are one of them, but you can pay your bills, drive a car...
Some are even worse at math than you are, but they can drive,,, some of them even hold public office, and are unable to pay their bills.

I am really glad Hillary was not elected.
I have never owned a handgun in my life... being totally S..faced scared of Pres Hillary forced me into a purchase. I just knew that her election would be the end of any possibility of owning a handgun.

Maryland bends over backwards keeping lawful citizens from owning certain firearms especially handguns. It was really a torturous process in obtaining the handgun. I completed the required handgun training of clearing and inspecting a semi-automatic weapon. Then I did my live fire training consisting of discharging a single round into a water tank with an instructor's hand wrapped around mine to prevent me from shooting him. 30 day min wait -- buy weapon.

When I picked up the weapon, after waiting 12 days, they asked me if I knew how to use it. I said sure, I had the entire state required course of one round down range. Thank goodness that I have friends with years of training. I listen, I learn, but Maryland law was a joke.

Now Trump got elected, so I wasted all that money... but I can tell you one thing; I have never felt safer at night. My takeaway; you cannot trust democrats to control guns.

How is it that other states can have open and concealed carry and Marylander's are not trustworthy?

Sounds like you didn't waste a cent. Trump will only be around a short time. Remember 2012. Obumer had a little teardrop on his cheek, a little flapping of lips... and the entire supply chain dried up overnight. Now is the time. Besides you might enjoy it. Plinking and Cowboy racing are my favorite hobbies these days. If a more modern sport is more to your liking, 3 gun racing is also an amazingly fun sport.

The very BEST part? If the liberals and conservatives ever seriously clash, their rock throwing won't stand a chance against the well armed conservatives.

I've been around guns my entire life and love them. I live in NJ and we have some of the toughest laws in the country. I don't even notice it. Background check, waiting period etc. who cares. States with absolutely no gun laws are the ones putting them in the wrong hands albeit other states.

As far as well armed citizens taking on the government, if it ever happened. The citizens would get crushed faster than Grant took Richmond and is just stupidity to think otherwise......

Only needs to be a deterrent.

Win or lose, it is the same as in Junior High. Would be unwise for government to be a bully.

You have to keep an eye on Right Wing Christian Terrorists some how.
Will we use the same means we use on keeping tabs on Muslim extremist?

Just what states bypass federal gun laws?

Mike,

1) Absolutely.

2) Law on top of Federal gun law. The gun show loophole for example.

3) History

Lots of folks think liberalism is a mental disorder.

Easy way to sort out who's rights to take away. Not worth the courts time...
True, but consider this:

If a person registers as a Democrat, he is already admitting to having a head full of loose screws...so, bingo! We have an easy way of determining who should give up their guns.

If every Democrat in the country were disarmed, murders and robberies would drop like a rock.

90% of life is "showing up"

Why does Chicago pop into my head when I read that ??.

Gee, that seems strange.
Current tense "read"
Past tense "read"
They sound different, but spelled the same, guess I must be crazy, better turn in any guns I have.s

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

My grandma said to believe nothing I heard and half of what I saw. I think that was a bit optimistic.
