Hobbywing Platinum PRO v4 60A Throttle Calibration
I am having a problem with my Hobbywing Platinum PRO v4 60A doing the initial throttle calibration.

When the esc is plugged into power, it will not do the sequence of beeps described in the manual.

I am plugging the battery in with the throttle at full with a 0-25-50-75-100 curve as described in the instructions. I've even adjusted the throttle atv to 140% at full throttle to see if that's the problem but no luck.

I'm running a Vbar Neo system and a Spektrum 18 transmitter.

Any Ideas??

Thanks

ATV endpoint at low
Did you also set your ATV endpoint at low throttle? Also the trim? Lastly, your throttle servo direction might be reversed.

With vbar neo, the power cycle must be almost instantaneous. You may need a helper or devise a switch to more easily and quickly cycle the power.

I struggled with this for days.

I found the way to calibrate the throttle travel for the ESC on the Governor basic setting II tab in the Vbar software. There is an option to select throttle servo adjustment through the collective. You get direct throttle control without the governor turned on which allowed the ESC to setup properly..

NQNA,

Congratulations on finding a solution...

I am unaware of this method you used. Would you mind sharing more detailed instructions or providing a link to information online?

Tyler,

Here are the pages in the Vbar software that I used to calibrate the throttle.

Starting on this page select the Vbar Electric Governor. Then hit Reset to Electric. Then hit continue.

This will bring you to this page.

You then select the Throttle servo adjustment box and then unplug the ESC from the battery. Place the throttle/collective stick on the transmitter to the full power/collective position and then plug the battery into the ESC. You then will hear the appropriate tones from the ESC and you will be able to program.

If you don't want to use the Vbar software Governor, you can go back to the first governor page and select External ESC Gov.

Hopefully this helps!

Tried this. Will not work for me. Any other options?

Nevermind. User error. When it says collective channel it means it. I was looking at the throttle channel.

Thanks
Rick
