Found another issue I think. Was checking the tail section. The blade grips seem to in and out. I took them apart and checked the manual and all parts are installed correctly. Is it supposed to have that much play?Just call me Farmer Brown. 'Cause I know how to really plant 'em

Yes they will have some play in there. That is totally normal.

I can't really answer your question about the vbar servo output because I have not set up a 5.3 in a long time.

I selected the servo no BEC above the Sensor port.

I just don't understand why I have no movement when I move the throttle stick.

Have you gone through the full vbar setup? I dont believe the throttle servo will work at all until you have, it needs to be in the "servo" port by the "sensor" port. The cyclics are another story, they should have some movement no matter what. Did you completely reset your model in the radio before starting setup?Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Yes I reset it. But why am I not getting the collective to move when I move the throttle stick on the Tx? And how do I adjust the throttle servo end points?

I have the cyclic and tail set pretty much I think.

When I get to the "Collective" travel section, I have no movement what so ever.

If you mean the Trim section right after the servo section, yes I can get the trim levels set and the cyclics move. But only through the software. Not with the stick on Tx.Just call me Farmer Brown. 'Cause I know how to really plant 'em

Hmmm. How about the swash type in your radio, set to single servo? Does the tail servo move correctly in the tail tab?Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

Just can't figure out how to get the throttle servo setup. It only will open half way no matter what I do in the settings.

Also trying to figure out how to hook the SwitchGlo up. I have it in the RUDD/AUX port. But it comes on when I move the right stick on Tx to the left, and off when move it to the right.

Figured out the servo is good. It is a tail servo, so probably can't be used for throttle.

Can I use a mini cyclic BK HV servo for throttle? Or what can I use?
I have seen a lot using the JR3717HV. But I really like the BK servo!!

You will get used to it. Seems like almost all canopies are a bit cumbersome when you first start with them. They break in, and so do youTeam Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!
