I have been out of the rc scene for over 8 years and have just ordered the Blade BLH8580 Inductrix.. I still have my trex60 hangin on my wall...

A lot of my knowledge is somewhat lost...as the way im feeling. Lost..

I have a futaba 12fgh radio with a 2.4 faast module in my radio.

The Inductrix only uses Spektrum

Can I use a spektrum module in my futaba?

Is this what I need?

Or should I not use my futaba and buy a spektrum radio

Does that come with a built in module?

So I need a 72mhz module to put my 12fgh into pcm mode?

I guess I should just buy that $60 spektrum radio and leave my once $1200 fgh in the closet for another 20 years

You don't want ot use the spectrum modules that came out for for 9c, 12fg etc. They where NOTORIOUS for lock outs.

You do NOT need the Futaba TX module. You set it to student PPM8 and it'll work fine.

I've been using it for months. Works great.
