550 > 600 coversion... wonder if this can be solved
Folks,

Picked up 2nd hand one, where helical main fitted.
-
Noticed that that the tailrotor drive is offset .
-
Does anyone have any idea how to remove this offset?

Please shout if you have any ideas.

This appears to be a common issue and most fly it with little affect in this condition. However, if it bothers you, you can sometimes switch the main shaft spacer (.5 or .3mm) from the factory assigned top bearing block position to the bottom between the block and main gear.

The only caveat it that re-assembly is a little more tricky and best performed upside down as you do not want the spacer to be pinched on the shaft step. A reliable sign that it is, will be a difficult to achieve insertion of the cross-bolt.

There are two different one war bearings all so the one way bearing may not be pressed all the way into housing ,

That's how mine was even after I played with the shims, yours is slightly better than mine was .We made up some rules can we have your moneys now.
