Let me say from the outset that I don't know much about drones.

I have a Jeti DC-24 transmitter. Jeti doesn't seem to make a drone-specific receiver (or do they?).

I've purchased a drone, and the control board doesn't have multiple plugs for the (minimum) four channels you'd use (i.e. throttle, pitch, roll, yaw). It just has one plug.

What do I need to purchase?

what controller does it have? (what program is it using to tune)?
What form factor for mounting ?
How much room is there where the board is currently mounted.
The easiest route is to get a PPM receiver that is compatible, as using PWM make for a "rats nest" of wiring.

Post a few pictures of the drone and control board so we can identify model.
Lots of help here, but need more info.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

It's a Kylin 250. Plenty of room, I think.

This unit has a built in receiver. The plug in port is for programing (?), I guess.
Type Kylin 250 into your browser, lots of info available including manuals if you don't have one.
How to bind it to your specific transmitter, hopefully someone on here can come back with an answer.

Let us say, for argument's sake, that I wanted to build a second Kylin 250 and use my own electrics. What receiver might I use?

Well, when I built my own quads I used Spektrum receivers such as the AR-7010 that interfaced with a NAZA-M control unit. So the receiver was a standard type RC receiver with rudder, aileron , elevator, throttle, controls that normally control RC servos.
The MAZA-M converted these signals to control the ESC motor drivers, and added a lot of stability.
See attached picture.

You can also see my various quads in my gallery
.
EDIT: Keep in mind these controllers I am showing are over 2 years old, so there may be much better ones available.
