Hello all,
I just finished my first goblin 700 comp build and when I spool up I can see my rear standoff oscillating through the guide bracket.
I know it says in the manual that the heli needs 5-6 flights to mesh the gearing properly, and I do notice that the gear will become a little tighter on one part of its 360 deg rotation.

I haven't checked the shaft to see if it may have been bent, I know it has never been dropped since I took it out of the package.

Main shaft is bent. As you move the swashplate higher ... will wobble more

You must have eyes like a hawk, Scott....

I hear the RPM's increase but I don't see the swash raising at all....

What I'm seeing is so minute I wouldn't worry about it and fly it as is....

Like the OP states, the gear mesh is a little tight at the high spot but once they mesh in I think whatever he is seeing will go away.....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Let me rephrase it
....if the swashplate is moved further up, it will oscillate more. There is more run-out at the end

BTW
High spots will blow out motor bearings before bending main shafts. But in the goblin 2 stage, it's not the apparant

Thanks guys, I will remove the shaft and check it for true, it wont take long and it is winter up here anyhow.
The movement didn't get worse or better by moving the swash plate.

My Buddy also stated the same as you Juan, that is normal especially if it is stated I the manual.

Any SAB reps here that can speak to this?
