Ikon setup
I just finished setting up my ikon unit. I am using a dx8 radio and satellites. Do I need to set up my pitch curves in my transmitter or is this done through the unit. This is my first flybarless system, any help would be great.

The ikon wizard is pretty comprehensive.
I switch back and forth from basic to advanced. There's some stuff worth playing with in advanced.
You can set a dead spot in the controls.
You can set exponential (recommended to have it set in the ikon instead of the transmitter).
You can manually type in numbers for the servo endpoints.

If you hover over a setting it will tell you what it's for. And most of it makes sense.

Ok while we are on the subject, I have a Brain and a Ikon. How do you get into the advanced settings on the controller? Dumb question I know but have not explored the advanced side of it.trex 700fbl cal30,minititan,, trx600fbl,trex250,logo 500,Velocity N2

Setting up your pitch curves is a combination using the Ikon to get it close and then using the radio to fine tune it.Trex 700E / Trex 500 ESP - Ikon/ HD 500 - Ikon 2/ Goblin 500 Ikon 2

The ikon controls the total collective throw.
You can bump individual servos up or down to level the swash and set 0 pitch.
But you really should have your swash servos and head set up so that with the servos centered at 90 degrees the swash is level and the blade pitch is 0 (flat). The closer you get this set mechanically, the better performing your set up will be.

The individual points that make the pitch curve are not set in ikon, they are set in your transmitter.
