N5 question
Hey synergy pilots! Been out of the hobby for a long time 10+ years, had all kinds of raptors. Now I am interested in getting back into the hobby and I have been doing some research and think that I am going to go with a synergy n5. I just have a few questions:
1) how good is the parts support?
2) can you still buy a new kit with fly bars?
3) what is a good best bang for the buck electronics set up? Motor? Gyro? I fly Futaba and I recently bought a 2.4 radio that is helicopter capable. Thanks for the help!

Billy, welcome back, I remember meeting you down at Brooks, I believe that's where we met.

The Synergy N5CTT is an excellent machine, I just built a new one. Parts and support is outstanding, along with the quality you can't go wrong.

I run Futaba also, but use top of the line servos (BLS255HV-cyclic;BLS256HV Tail). I also run the CGY750 flybarless system, the N5CTT does not come in a fly bar version. The CGY750 system and governor are both fantastic.

The OS55HZR engine along with the OS Powerboost III muffler absolutely rock. A bit on the expensive side but it flies great with this combo.

I am sure there are less expensive options as far as equipping the machine but I like to buy it once and fly.

Great to hear you're back in it.

Have fun,

Jeff King
To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Jeff King,
Yep I believe it was Brooks! Are there any other local heli events like that going on still? I was just a kid when you saw me last, now I'm pushing 30 haha. That sounds exactly like the combo that I would be looking to have in this machine. Now I just have to research and find the best price on a kit! Thanks for the input and perhaps we will fly together one of these days!

That's a great setup except the 255/256 servos are hard to find since futaba discontinued them . I have the 272/276 combo but there are many options out there for servos. CGY 750 is a great choice for the N5cTeam Synergy, Rail Blades,Team Scorpion,Team FBL Rotors
