Point is, he wouldnt have been shot if he hadnt first left the scene of an accident (that he probably caused), and then continued to avoid "capture". Arrogant dumbass made dumbass decisions (multiple dumbass decisions) and, unfortunately for him, paid the ultimate price. HE chose to die that day. I GUARAN-FREAKIN-TEE he would NOT have been shot had he stayed at the accident scene like any normal, sane, intelligent, respectful, moral, responsible individual would have.Steve

AirWolfRC I didn't know you considered an unconscious person who's foot slips off the brake was a felon deserving to be shot . . . again.
Do stupid things, win stupid prizes. Poor cops just wanted to make sure the felon didn't suffer.

Over step your authority and over react and you get fired, if not go to jail.

There are many examples. We'll see where this one goes.

AirWolfRC who's foot slips off the brake
^speculation^

speculation fact #1) "no one" could see the man's foot slip off the brake peddle before or after the last 2 shots, or at any other time !

speculation fact #2) no one knows for sure if the man was dead before those 2 last shots were fired !

speculation fact #3) speculations ant going na set in no chair in court !

find your conclusions somewhere else please

I didn't see where it said ^that^ in the the link, it says the cops are on leave for the inspection, as they always are

note they were at a stop sign and there was traffic on the road, if he fled a 3rd time he could have hurt or killed some one innocent to his crimes !!

lets re-vamp,
didn't stop at the accident,, #1 law broken
didn't stop the first time,,,,,, #2 law broke
didn't stop the 2nd time,,,,,,,#3 law broken
speeds up to 95 MPH,,,,,,,,,,#4 law broken

note that if he stopped that 3rd time he would have been arrested for braking the law 4 times,

look at the video close, now stopped a 3rd time, with the cops pointing guns at him, the car moves again,, #5 law broken,, he brakes the law 5 times, all BEFORE the first 2 shots were fired,

"don't forget the 95 MPH speeds and other cars on the road that are innocent to the 5 crimes"

now note if that man was allowed to run a 3rd time and he had killed some one innocent to the 5 (5) crimes then that too would be put onto the cops, the question would have been "why did the cops let him run a 3rd time where the man had already broken the law 4 times?"

so the question is "how much leeway should the cops give some one that has broke the law at least 5 times and is still dangerously running from the police ?" I guess you think more than 5 times,,,, I say not

“Bijan Ghaisar was repeatedly threatened by over-aggressive and out-of-control law enforcement officers, after he drove away from a minor traffic incident in which he was the victim and in which there was little property damage and no known injuries.”
The Fairfax officer estimated the cars were traveling at 59 mph.
I think you better not get stopped . . . you may be under the influence of some kind of drugs . . . and get shot . . .

OK, so I got the speed wrong, but at 59 MPH was he speeding, that is another question to ask,

but do to the "undetermined amount of marijuana in his system" we now know why he was running, it is my speculation that he was on the Weed or had some with him, that is another question, if yes he still had at least 5 counts of braking the law against him, then add another IF he was speeding,

look AirWolfRC, I know you are a good guy, I know that, but as for me I have to look beyond what I see in that video to judge the cops,, what we need is a better way to stop these people from running in cars without this kind of ending

Gearhead yes he still had at least 5 counts of braking the law against him
He had felonies against him, he was a felon in their eyes, and just stupid enough to resist arrest using a vehicle which is considered a deadly weapon once he personally chose to not obey commands given by the arresting officers to stop. leaving the vehicle in drive or putting the vehicle in drive after being stopped is enough to win stupid prizes.

airwolf, you sound exactly like someone who would start a fight with someone smaller then you just for fun and because you thought you wanted to be a bully,
Then, just when your getting your butt kicked because the other guy who may be smaller but who is a lot tougher then you,
you decide you then want to call the cops and press charges and be protected.

You will always badmouth cops as much as you can, tell all the lies you can, but when you think you need one you will be calling them on the phone as fast as your fat little fingers can move.

No, they are not all perfect, and some are downright bad, but there a lot more of good cops just trying to do their part and go home safe at night to their families.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

classic . . . let me throw you a life preserver . . . you just went off the deep end and you need one.

Those park police were arrogant amateurs more intent on proving that they were in control than defusing the situation. They acted like "how you dare disobey ME . . . I'll show you !". That's why I have a problem with them.

AirWolfRC how you dare disobey ME . . . I'll show you !"
Indeed. You are required by law to obey them. Dont obey them and a whole myriad of consequences are staring right at you in the face. And believe it or not, one of those consequences is that you decide to disobey a cop with an ego, a gun, and a twitchy trigger finger. Normal, sane, intelligent, respectful, moral, responsible individuals know this and choose to not put themselves in situations that might cause cops to draw their guns.

you must ask yourself why he did not stop,, the way I see it, now knowing the guy was a Pot smoker, the cops had to stop him at the stop sign, if he got past the cops there he may have hurt some one or even kill some oneJim

Gearhead why he did not stop
Because criminals love stupid prizes, this guy figured out how to get a Darwin award! 1rst place. We need more cops putting thugs down, but they figured out we just let them kill each other now and its much faster then when law gets involved.

But they do drop the ball and we need to pick it up

It's amazing how the sheep ignore the examples of when the police they hired to protect them get out of hand and start abusing their position.
