My first purchase on runryder as a member was from another member in south west CT. I drove just shy of 200 miles ONE WAY to buy a Raptor 90 airframe because I had never paypaled any one or had something like that shipped before even though the member assured me he could do it safely. Now, about 3 years later I have grown wiser and understand $25 in shipping beats $90 in gas and 8 hours of driving any day

Some things a seller won't ship because its too big or too expensive to ship. As a buyer if you want it you make the trip!Bill Whittaker

There is one member who lives about 100 miles from me I have driven to 3 times now to make purchases. He is an older gentleman who doesn't use paypal and is not crazy about shipping. I don't mind the drive and the meeting, plus it's worth it for his super clean items.

3 hours one way for 10 cases of fuel. 1 hour 15 minutes for a woman a long time ago.To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.
